The easy hotfix is just to build and delete a tile next to the collector that is stuck. (it can be just a blueprint)

Does the pod persist after you reload the game? I can't get it to stay around.

Fixed in 2.0.15!
We were adding GUI to simulations and it was stealing the IME context every tick.

I haven't found a fix yet, but I have discovered that the problem only happens in the main menu and anywhere with simulation (factoriopedia and tips).
For now, you can fix it in menu, by disabling menu simulations in game settings. Hope that helps.

I can let the pods land in shallow water, but it's not a priority right now as all planets in Space Age don't natively generate without a safe landing area. Once critical bugs are fixed I will look into it.

Thanks for the report. It was quite a tricky one, but it exposed an oversight in our code that only came up for a single frame.
It should be fixed for 2.0.14, but since that not coming out immediately here is a save where I fixed the crash for now.

This is working as intended. While it's not convenient to your use case, I've opted to include the held chunks in the output signal for the sake of "smart platforms" that want to filter asteroids by circuits based on need. The chunk held by the claw is already captured and will eventually ...

Oh, this is a funny one. I've moved the centre of collection area in front of the collector (to give it more useful range), but the range for scouting chunks is still computed from the position of the entity.
Should be an easy fix.

In your case it seems the collector is in an invalid state and that's why it's crashing the game. Can you tell me how you constructed this collector? I cannot recreate it in a fresh save (even with the extra quality mod tier collector). All my collectors spawn in properly and don't have this issue. ...

I will be looking into a fix this week. I've fished out my toaster laptop to verify. The glitch effect is relatively cheap, but I suspect it splits batches of real vs ghost entities which increases the drawing workload more than the calculation of the effect itself.
