It's specific to that quality, rather than using the best available.
If I tell something to upgrade to green quality, it's not going to use my blue or purple qualities. It shouldn't, I may want to use them elsewhere. Similarly if I tell something to upgrade to blue, but don't have enough, I'll get ...

Upgrade planner needs option for Best quality available
Suggestions as per title. Please add the ability to drag the upgrade planner over stuff and let it use the best quality items the factory currently has available.
One of the major downsides of quality is that it adds a lot of micromanagement to upgrading stuff as better quality items become ...

Re: [2.0.12] Hand crafting Yumako processing recipe results in unexpected stack spoilage value (MR)
This feels bad as a player. The initial fruit has a 1 hour spoilage time, the new item spoils before it is created. The increased spoilage timer applies to the first stack of items created, not to subsequent stacks. It takes a fair amount of testing to understand what the problem is and why it is ...

This continues to be a problem in version 2.0.39
Quing many Yamako mash, or Jelly via right click spamming can result in newly made mash/jelly instantly becoming spoilage. It appears to base the spoilage timer upon the first item crafted and all subsequent ques share that spoilage timer.

Re: I got to space and am lost.
At first i thought it was frustrating that you can't walk on the platform with your character, and quite annoyed to not have an "inventory" when building, the need to pick everything from the hub everytime was destabilizing, but when attempting in editor to have my character walk on the platform ...

I got to space and am lost.
Character can't move. I can't build, only thing I could do is go back down to the planet. I really thought there would be something that explains this under tips and tricks. What am I supposed to do?

Re: [2.0.15] Cancelling partially-fulfilled inventory request leaves the icon in place
I would agree that the controls feel unintuitive. I think a better design would be to allow a player to select items like they do with it in their hand and not have it do anything until it's told where to stick those items. I'd like right click to remove the items in the way that left click does now.

Re: Locking chest inventory slots
I desired this on chests as well. Specifically with quality options, limiting chests is a lot harder. Gambling on quality with Nuclear reactors is an example of this. With a stack size of 10, and relatively few needed, rolling that desired rare or uncommon means I can't limit my chest to only 1 ...

Re: [2.0.15] Cancelling partially-fulfilled inventory request leaves the icon in place
There were times when I wanted to move tank shells from my tank inventory to my turret. Clicking on the tank shells sends them to storage somewhere else. If I try to cancel their delete order, I am unable to (which is different than everything else in Factorio). The stack of shells will be removed ...

Mod organization/selection
My first experience playing Space Age, mods need a better way to bulk uninstall. The ability to assign mods to a group, easily activate said group, de-activate them, or delete them would be very helpful.

Re: Just bought the game; What were Your first impressions?
I picked up the demo on Steam due to Factorio's support of Linux. 20 Hours into the demo, I felt like I'd already gotten my money's worth. It's rare that I like a demo enough that I want to buy the game just to support the developers. Other games that I have felt that with are Doom, Quake, and ...
