Re: [2.1.7] landmine does not output signal, work as advertised

You use it like an actual tripwire. Connect a whole chain of mines in series with a single wire, put a constant combinator at one end and read the signal at the opposite end. When a mine goes off the wire will be broken causing the signal to go away.

_facepalm_ okay this strategy makes more ...

[2.1.7] landmine does not output signal, work as advertised

This is half bug report half feature request. We are so close here.

1. What did you do?
I made the circuit network connection from the landmine as advertised in FFF-443 , connecting two landmines to a circuit network.

Re: Friday Facts #436 - Lost in Translation

I'm curious if Wube has stats on the overall languages selected by players. I wonder what languages Factorio are most commonly played in, after english?

[2.0.16] New Rails 4 width intersection conjoins same colored sections into same train block

loving the expansion, I'm having a blast with the new rails.

I'm encountering behavior with a common rail junction that really seems like a bug, but it could just be rail signal logic being unfair.
When using a four-width junction with tight signals, I would expect the intersection to create four ...

[2.0.12] Gray and black signal color component values too bright

Loving the new expansion. As a user playing with circuit networks,

I would expect the two new color signals, gray and black, when sent to a lamp, would color it a shade _darker_ than the existing white signal.
Not sure if this has been reported yet. Seems like an easy fix.

see attached image.

Re: Friday Facts #427 - Combat Balancing & Space Age LAN

Looking at the PCs in the LAN party I see Intel stickers.

Are all the machines in the party similarly spec'd, or is it a variety? Are there ARM architectures being tested alongside x86 machines in the same testing group? Is the testing all on the same Windows OS, or are there some Macbooks testing ...
