Re: Alt + Tab
Windows doesn't like it when you try to alt-tab out of a fullscreen program. That's why lots of games have these "fullscreen window" or "borderless window" modes.
Since there's no "fullscreen window" option in factorio, the only way to avoid alt-tab issues is to run the game in windowed mode.

Re: Version 0.12.29
Does this mean it will be finally possible to launch steam version of factorio without having to launch steam?FactorioBot wrote:

Re: Loader Poll - Trying to get an idea of what the opinions are
I like the idea of a loader with small internal buffer. It should only interact with belts, and you will still need an inserter to move items. Basically, it should be a part of the belt system that applies inserter stack bonus to belts.

Re: Steam version is not DRM-free
Not at all - it's completely optional. You can do whatever you want - either use their steamworks DRM, or your own or some third-party solution, or ship the game untainted.
A good example of a DRM-free game on steam will be Kerbal Space Program - it uses steam as a glorified downloader, nothing more ...

If that's the plan, why even bother adding DRM?Koub wrote:Eventually, steam users should get a way to access to the website version of the game. Devs are working o it.

Steam version is not DRM-free
So I bought the game and it refused to start without steam running in background. You may say it's not a big deal, but there are people who don't want steam for anything but downloading updates.
Yet website version has no DRM. Is this a mistake or some kind of discrimination against steam users?
