Open any production building, select a recipe.
Now Alt+Click on the title line with that recipe (left side - text or icon - of the gears button).
It will open factoriopedia not on this recipe but on some planet tiles.

2. Put object 2 on the ground.
3. Make a BP with object 1 and save it.
4. Open edit that BP.
5. Press Select new contents.
6. Select object 2 as new contents.
7. Press X button in BP window or Escape (close without saving).

Show stack size of an item in the crafting tooltip

Add a stack size line into item tooltip on the crafting page (crafting tooltip).

The suggestion is to add stack size line into the item's crafting page tooltip.
Probably such feature could be an option in Interface menu.
Possible line for inserter:
