I've spent hours trying to create mall-assemblers using parameterisation, but it is currently not possible within game due to being unable to add to the parameterisation list.

Unable to log in: Too many failed login attempts

I can't log into the game.
I noticed this problem when trying to connect and play multiplayer with my friend, which was giving authentication issues.
I removed player-data.json in an attempt to re-log in.

When Factorio loads up and asks for my username password, I get the following error:

Well I’m looking forward to the minor science changes. It’s a great excuse to start a new factory and try things a little different this time!
Going to use single-ended trains this time, as I seem to always use 1-3-1 trains in my other play thrus.

You're right, it's only 256Mb.
Was a friend's old MBP, he's gone and bought a second hand Mac mini to get his factorio fix until the new iMacs come out this year.

Brand new install of OSX El Capitan.
Crashes upon startup with "Higher Performance" option in System Preferences (so it uses dedicated graphics).
Starts up fine if I select "Better Battery Life" (so it uses integrated graphics).

Yeah I second this, perhaps with the brick floor fair enough, but concrete should get rid of at least most of the shrubs :-)

Cool, can ride trains again, was beginning to thing I might roll back to 15.6 :-) serves me right for updating too early!
Seems to fix problem where it was occasionally crashing when driving car too.
Good work with the quick fixes.

You are not alone.
I find that if I run factorio server on my macmini, I must keep factorio in the foreground (even though no window is open) else my clients will disconnect.
It seems that if it goes to the background, it is no longer connected to stdin. I'm going to post a bug report on it, when ...

Start a new base now?

Like most people, I'm excited for 0.15. Especially the liquid train carriages.
My question is, should I start a new map now and start to get things underway ready for the update, or just wait until 0.15 and start new then?
