Great idea! Although it sounds more like a mod idea, I would really like to see this is vanilla because there will be a good reason to use burner inserters again

I'm not a developer, but as far as I know, is it not possible to change variable types without serious recoding. I think the issue isn't big enough for that.

I think it is a great idea to display what the ACTUAL time is for making a product. Diplaying it like:
Crafting time: 20s (x0.5)
or something sounds like a good idea.

I like this idea, especially the connection with steam engines, but they sais they wanted to keep the gameplay simple. So I don't know if they'll consider this.

I have installed all bob's mods, about 10 mods. But it is a pain to toggle all mods on/off. Maybe add a toggle all option?
