Re: Friday Facts #342 - The new old tutorial

while i try to keep up with the FFF posts, i somehow completely missed that the campaign was cancelled, and that the new player experience was going to be tossed. this is somewhat disheartening, because I was more or less waiting on that kind of content to come into focus for my next attempt at play...

Re: Friday Facts #305 - The Oil Changes

as a snowflake in the flood, and someone who is not a terribly active player (and even less active on the forums, i don't even have 10 posts yet), I might not be noticed. but since i am someone who finds the game extremely difficult, it's possible my commentary is of value: i struggle with spatial r...

Re: Friday Facts #254 - No research queue for you

I am not an "experienced player" by the standards of many Factorio players. I've played the game off and on for somewhere around 100, 150 hours tops (not sure, I only have steam number, not sure how much I played pre-steam) since ... something like 0.10 or 0.11. I've never gotten very far ...

Re: Friday Facts #198 - Rail segment visualisation

So, I seem to be missing something, since I can't understand what the rail visualization is showing. What rail tutorial is being discussed in the FFF? I just went and updated factorio from stable to experimental to try to find it, and I can't seem to do so. I've never understood rails in factorio, s...

Re: What inspired you to buy Factorio?

NESTT . Also, in the same post as I found out about NESTT, I discovered the future existence of spidertron . When I saw those, I finally went, "Yessss, this will be miiiiine." Then I discovered the full game is a LOT more fun than the demo campaign implied. I, also, spent a lot of time tr...

Pleasant surprise that you actually have captions in the trailer for hard of hearing/deaf gamers.

Good work, Wube Software!

Re: [MOD 0.12.x] NESTT: Build your base inside a train

[*]Can't clear trees unless leaving the locomotive - which is suicidal with the enormous number of creepers Yes this will need major reworking, always staying in the train is intended. Leaving the train IS suicidal, this is exactly what I aimed for :D It's worth noting you can place turrets while d...

Re: [MOD 0.12.12+] Research queue 1.2.3

Hello, I wanted to let you know I've found this mod absolutely invaluable for planning and time management. However, I've run into a weird problem now that I've got it set not to pause on research completion: I hear the 'research finished' sound and often forget what exactly was most recently queued...
