Very nice, thanks for sharing.
Personally, I haven't touched a Mac since the early 90's, and have no desire to do so ever again, but I'm happy for you.

Re: The numbers on fluids
I tried implementing the fluid-handling advice in this thread last night, in a new game with Railworld settings, and I was just knocked out.
I set up my new oil outpost with four tanks right next to the rails, so each fluid car was serviced by two pumps directly connected to a tank, and the filling ...

Re: Alt-F4 #28 - ROFL
I have built some very long causeways over water for rails, and it doesn't really take that much landfill. I just adjust the size of my "brush" with the plus/minus keys on the keypad, and lay down a strip just wide enough for the rails. Curves and diagonals get sloppy, so I try to do those on ...

Re: Alt-F4 #28 - ROFL
I previously built something similar but the trains became a snarled up mess, largely due to the fact that I'm playing in a natural world with lots of water, and building a full grid would have required tremendous amounts of landfill to build tracks over water just to make sure the trains could ...

Re: Intriguing red dot
Easiest way to find out is shoot one artillery shell at it, and be zoomed in (with map view) when the shell arrives. This is called "reconnaisance by fire".
Whatever it is, if it's red, it's not your friend.
Personally, I'm more intrigued by the fact that you have four vehicles parked at your ...

How change settings in a mod?
Many mods state that a user can change the settings, but I haven't seen any explanation of HOW. Can someone please explain this to me? Do I need to open the zip file and edit the settings.lua file, changing the default, or is there an interface, or what?

Very nice work! I especially like the squares on your concrete. I have been using the pause function to see and measure. Yes, I know, there is an option to toggle a full-time grid, but I don't like it.
