Might I suggest looking at this Github repository ? In particular, this chunk of code which seems to be where the difference between the generic keyboards and the Deathstalker Chroma comes into play. It doesn't seem terribly complicated to support the Deathstalker, but it does prove that the ...

Factorio does not have an actual fullscreen mode, so it uses "borderless fullscreen" when you turn the fullscreen option on.

This sounds like the issue I'm presently having with 0.15.9 after updating. I've yet to reboot my system, but that fixed it last time. I want to hear from the devs if there's any more information I can provide before I attempt a reboot.

0.15.2, for me, will not launch on Windows. I have not tested any other OS yet.
What I Did
Download 0.15.2 from Steam.
Launch game.
Attempt to update mods (Bob's stack inserters was the only one with an update).
Browse the mod portal a bit in game, downloaded Bob's clock mod.

I've only run into this issue recently when I started playing Factorio on a laptop with less than stellar hardware. I turned the settings down and when I started making pipes I ran into this issue:
