I dont like the radio silence from the Dev team

I have been playing Factorio since the first releases. I always found this game, it developer and its community engaging. After the "final" release, its like that the game died for me... Did this happen to you too? I think it is important to realize that what makes a great game is the peop...

Re: Version 1.1.14

I Also miss the FFF much more than I though. I have lost touch with the game state and direction, after they are not there every Friday. Please consider bringing them back, or giving public access to you sprints or backlog if it makes sense. I loved the transparency and it is what have keept me play...

Re: Friday Facts #363 - 1.1 is getting close

Factorio development is really turning into a little minigame of project planning and forecast of expected deadlines using tasks. Lets see if you escalate into features, epics and roadmaps. That REALLY means progress! :( With any luck, you will loose all agility and hope that tasks represent the rea...

Inconsistent graphics in the section headers in the GUI

Earlier I created a bug regarding the "mangled" graphics in the headers and it was closed due to being by-design https://forums.factorio.com/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=65410 But if you go to the research (Press "T"), the menues does not have the same graphics in the header sections...

Re: Mangled graphics in the various menues

The research headers do not have that weird mangled graphic in the headers. It looks much cleaner and more beautiful.

I really hope you will reconsider the layout of the header and make it clean again, like in research.

Re: Mangled graphics in the various menues

There is no accounting for taste, but DAMN its butt ugly. It falls far outside the other design elements.

thumbnail.png not showing if the mod file is zipped and placed in the mod directory

When upgrading my mod to the new 0.17 standard, I placed a file called thumbnail.png in the root of my mod zip file. If the file is placed in the mod folder, the thumbnail.png does not show when browsing the mod ingame. If the file is UNPACKED and placed in the mod folder, the thumbnail.png shows co...

Re: Friday Facts #236 - Building a rollup

I think that terraforming the ground we live on, is such a simple concept that has been around since man kind started to settle this world for real. It would be nice to be able to do it here, to better control pollution and generally make the look and feel of the base better.

Re: Friday Facts #236 - Building a rollup

How did the ground become green and lush again at the very end of the video? Is there a terraforming function what I missed in vanilla, or was it something that was added for the sake of the video?

Re: Friday Facts #125 - Achievements

Please do NOT remove the green inserters!!!! Even though there might be an overlap in functionality, the green inserters provide a very easy an convinient way to express simple logic without having to connect anything. Also, I will probably break a lot of the Inserter mods which fill a huge gab in f...
