I think you mean that the game should use voltage, resistance and current for power and different levels of temperature, dissipation, etc for heat. I think best way to integrate such idea is to make it as another way to eliminate threat trough technological craft line system. 1. To make new craft tree similiar to military. to make same difficiulty&timebuild as military, but in diffrent way, eco way. so in this way you will change ecosystem ...

it takes pretty of time to even think out and model out the one simple icon. especialy in such intelectualy rotten craft tools as windows- c++ - bios.

great game shoud unfold from its own seeds, to have authenticity, not to become social rainbow. espescialy in this case, then in disturbts lore of game.
it doesnt look bad, but it do not fit correctly to time spirit of game.
