In the crafting queue, left-clicking a stack of items resets the timer on that stack.
This is most apparent when crafting a stack of basic items, such as an ammunition magazine:
1. Enqueue a large stack of magazines
2. Left-click the stack
Expected: the stack counter should decrement by one
Actual: the stack counter decrements by one and the stack's clock is reset.
There is a thread discussing this here (viewtopic.php?f=6&t=16374&start=10) but no bug is being tracked.

In fact, it cancels the current crafting. If you're crafting a stack, it cancels the one item that's being crafted, thus giving you the impression it resets the current craft progression.

For me it's not a bug, just a choice of implementation : when I cancel a craft, I want it cancelled, not the-next-one-but-not-the-one-in-progress.

Yes, but if the queue has too many items in it, then the user will want to cancel some of them without interrupting the progress on the current one (especially with items that take longer to craft). In fact I noticed this just the other day when I was crafting some roboports; they take ages so I was quite annoyed. Well, momentarily annoyed. I'm not sure if it's always been this way or if this is a recent change (I would say regression); I don't recall noticing the problem in my many previous games.

Great! Another thing to use it: I want my pumpjack done but not the next one. Then I want to finish the inserters which are in queue. I like that I will not need to wait until the one of two pumpjacks is finnished and then cancel the second one. In fact, now it will be faster to craft in hand if you do a mistake or overshoot the wanted valueOxyd wrote:Fixed in 0.12.30.
