Optimizations
  • Improved GUI performance when logistics status diode is part of the structure. (124660)
Bugfixes
  • Fixed a crash when units spawned by an enemy spawner are destroyed by script during created effect.
Use the automatic updater if you can (check experimental updates in other settings) or download full installation at https://www.factorio.com/download/experimental.

Huh, is there a reason behind this small patch? It doesn't seem like a hotfix to me? Maybe the last patch for this year and they wanted to just push the 3 remaining fixes?

That was a hotfix. We want to get another stable but there was a bug added in 2.0.27 that was affecting at least 5 players.

Are there any plans for holiday? Or is the team continuing the work throughout the new year? Appreciate all the work so far and loving the new update!

It looks like 2 fixes to me.
Creator of multiple mods, including Quality Assurance - My most popular one.
Go check them out with the first and second links!
I'll probably be wanting or giving help with modding most of the time I spend here on the forum.

It also partially fixed 122632, so 2.5 fixes

I was puzzled and couldn't figure out what that "diode" was and only after ready the whole post linked did I get it - the little light that's next to the "trash unneeded" in the cargo hub/cargo landing pad...

I also build lots of landing pads, but I've never noticed any significant ups/fps drops.
I guess I didn't build enough landing pads.
