[pard] [2.0.9] Factoriopedia opening unwanted subsequent page

Post by Usul »

Already opened Factoriopedia shows me a subsequent page I did not request.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Open Tech Tree
2. Unter "Effects" of a Tech, Alt-Click on Item of interest to bring up it's Factoriopedia page
3. Leave Factoriopedia open
4. Alt-Click anywhere on the entire screen, outside of the Factoriopedia window
5. Factoriopedia switches to a page describing a Tile (Sand in my case)

[2.0.14] Incorrect Factoriopedia entry when alt-clicking on Technology Screen with Factoriopedia already open

Post by johnmcb »

The issue:

When you alt-click items in the top-left of the Technology Screen, you open the Factoriopedia entry for the hovered item.

The first click works as expected when the Factoriopedia is not open. Subsequent alt-clicks on the technology screen while the Factoriopedia is open incorrectly display the entry for the map tile under the cursor, not the hovered item on the Technology Screen.

Expected behavior:

Alt-clicking should still work on the Technology Screen even if the Factoriopedia is already open.

Replication Steps:

- Start a new game
- Press T to open the Technology Screen
- Alt-Click on the "Copper Cable" Effect that is unlocked by Electronics, see that the correct entry opens.
- Alt-Click on the "Electronic Circuit" (with the "Copper Cable" entry still open), see that Factoriopedia opens to the entry for "Grass", the tile that was under the cursor underneath the Technology Screen, not the entry for the circuit.

[2.0.15] Factoriopedia opening unwanted ground item

Post by donlac »

This occurs if you alt click anything behind the Factoriopedia. If you open your inventory and alt-click on an item then try to alt-click on another item, it also selects the ground under the cursor. Same for trying to alt-click on something in the world (assembly machine for example). It appears that all layers above the ground are isolated from the mouse when Factoriopedia is open
