[Solved] MAJOR FPS SLOWDOWN

Hi Guys,

My game has a huge slow down, suddenly dropping down to 5-10 FPS. My specs are:
GTX 860M 2GB
I7-4710 MQ
8 GB RAM

I only have 150 hours of gameplay. Yet the whole game suddenly slows down like crazy its unplayable.

Can Anyone Help me??

OK so I've loaded your save (which was not clever doing on my Steam Factorio because it fired a zillion achievements, as I hadn't had the time to play Factorio since achievements were added), and it runs flawlessly on my over 5 year old desktop .

I thought with an i7 it couldn't be a matter of CPU, but I'm afraid it is likely it.

However, I noticed you play with 0.13.20, and I'm with 0.14.9. Can you try to download latest experimental (0.14.9), load the game, and see if it runs more smoothly ? Beware if saved in a different version, it will disable replay though.

just a thought, you might try disabling hyper-threading.
do you have anti-virus or other programs running taking up CPU time?
is your taskbar filled with things running in the background?

I am currently using 10% of my CPU, and that is with Google Chrome on, I tried closing everything before playing and the same thing happens. However, when I play AAA games like Witcher, Middle Earth Shadow of Mordor, and even Total War Warhammer, all of them runs normally. Only Factorio has the problem. Is there anyone else here besides me who has this problem?

Should not be .. Im using a portable fan, and ryt now im playing witcher and the game seems to be working fine. Based on the logs and the saved game that are posted, is it the problem within the factorio? Or externally?
