I find myself trying to look at info on the bugs in mods like Rampant, but having to find one that's standing still to be able to actually read all the resistances that appear in the tooltip on the left.
As far as I can tell from the settings, there doesn't appear to be a way to change the speed at which something clears from the tooltip window after you stop hovering over it.
Does anyone know of any mods that can change this behavior? It's really finicky to try to follow something that's moving to see what its stats are or what it's carrying in the case of a bot.
Is there a tooltip clear delay mod?
Re: Is there a tooltip clear delay mod?
I could be wrong but I doubt a mod can add a delay before an entity tooltip is removed.
You can however disable "Entity tooltips on the side" in Interface settings, which may make it easier for you to track something that is moving. Or, if you are unconcerned about achievements, you can switch to editor mode with the "/editor" console command and freeze time. Resistance (etc) values are defined in prototypes and fixed per unit type, meaning the tooltip information about them doesn't change, so you could just capture it once and keep it as a reference.
