Just wanted to say "thank you!" for a great experience in Space Age.
  • Been playing with a buddy. It's all been super enjoyable and fun, providing great memories.
  • Read no spoilers or FFF before playing. Thoroughly enjoyed landing on every planet for the first time, exploring the new mechanics, and solving puzzles. The only spoilers I got were the title screen backgrounds :)
  • Can't say enough about how clever some of the ideas were. Fulgora was amazing. You have one machine (the recycler) with one recipe (recycle inputs) and from that, you build a factory that is no less complex than the one on Nauvis. Pure genius. Tackling the design challenges was a stimulating exercise.
  • Really loved that each planet was like a mini-game. Drop in, get your bearings, solve puzzles, move on. Kept things very fresh.
  • Aesthetics on the new planets were great. Loved the way the graphics and music came together to make you feel like you were in a different and new place each time.
  • Having read through the FFFs more now, all the ideas landed tremendously well. Eg., using quality as a way to extend vertical growth since that's fun. Well you were right. It is fun! It keeps UPS down, activates the ol' reward centers of the brain, and extends the vertical growth stage tremendously. Everybody wins in every way!
  • Space travel is super interesting. I like how space platforms and planets like Fulgora, Vulcanus, and Aquilo force you to make compact designs and conserve energy.
  • Elevated rails and new train logic are features that I can't live without anymore.
  • Circuits work extremely well now. You sprinkle them all over the place and they are powerful enough that you can do very useful things with them.
  • Tesla tower go brrrr
Just a super well thought out and enjoyable game. Bravo and thank you again!

I've posted some (constructive, I hope) critical views, and no doubt more will be coming as I finish my first playthrough.

The stuff which was gotten quite right doesn't get each its own topic. So, firstly, thank you for making such a fantastic pre-2.0 game.

Thank you Wube for not selling out (why, Squad?) and/or acting like one of the juggernauts.

Thank you for putting so much effort into 2.0 and Space Age.

The changes to blueprints are the most amazing thing to me so far. Something which was pretty good, but you did need to save, go to editor, build, copy, and then reload. Now I feel as though you really can design a blueprint in-situ and then go build it.

I haven't delved too deeply into the new circuit network yet. But it looks much more flexible, without losing functionality.

Based on what's gone up on YT, it looks like a big thumbs up for the rail system too

It's really great that you have tried to improve the existing mechanics instead of just filling it with bloat and paving over the existing mechanics.

Thank you for another wonderful year of working to make the factory grow! Merry Factoriomas!
My own personal Factorio super-power - running out of power.

THANK YOU SO MUCH for putting back the "intelligent belting" option back!
It may sounds frivolous to most, but i've been forced to spend 200h with it and i still don't like it at all, i'm very glad a complain of a few people is enough to get a feature back, that's really a dev team who listen to their players and i love it.

Hey everyone,

I couldn't agree more with all of you! Factorio truly stands out because of how much depth it offers, even after hundreds of hours. The level of polish and the modding support make it feel fresh with every playthrough.

I also love how the updates focus on meaningful improvements rather than rushing to push new features. It's a rare gem in the gaming world these days.

Also, I think tracking playtime would be fun... but maybe a little scary to see the final number! Thanks to the devs for creating such an incredible experience!

Cheers!
