I see there a big danger and we need really to think a lot about such ideas, because giving points to this mod would make this mod more pointless, uhhhmmm... I mean, the more points it has, the more points... sorry, I lost it....

But we should split the ideas, that gives points to this mod into another mod to lower this danger; maybe we call it the "(more)points"-mod?

A one-lane splitter/merger that takes an input from one belt and outputs the same thing on the exit. You'd have to work on the sprites tho.

How about a factory that replicates your mouse pointer! You turn them out by the hundreds and place them around your map for no apparent reason!

Not sure if you're still looking for more pointless things, but discovering this thread I had to add to it.

A Surface (flooring) that just looks like the ground (sand maybe? so you're even slower?) and behaves the same way.

Power poles that can't connect to each other or anything else.

Inserters that pick things up and put them back down in the same place. (there's the 90 degree ones so is this possible?)
