Oh, thanks, since it's 'hidden' in Debug hotkeys, and doesn't have 'train' or 'locomotive' in the name, I didn't find it.
Just tried it.

I'm not sure it does fulfil the most important requirements : I would say that one of the biggest requirements here seems to be the ability to not have to aim before pressing the keyboard shortcut (when in the train... (and possibly near it ??)).

(It also indeed doesn't seem to work on Space Platforms... for which it IMHO should work just by looking at the surface, not requiring the character to be physically present.)

TL;DR

Pressing these keyboard shortcuts would order the train or space platform to immediately go to the previous/next station in their list.

What?

Importantly, you would NOT need to open the Locomotive view / Space platform hub to give that order.

Some gameplay implementation questions :
Would you need to be inside the train, or would it work even near it ?
Would you need to be inside the Space Platform Hub ? (No.)
What happens to the Automatic / Manual state ? Upon arrival ?
(Interactions with temporary stops, and interrupts ?)

Why?

For a more fluid player interaction with trains / space platforms, especially of those that you frequently use the routes.

(Note that «Passenger present» interrupt doesn't seem to work immediately, but only after the train / platform is 'done' with the current station, so serves a different need.)
