This should hopefully force all bots to dock, where they could then be extracted.
That would break up the logistic network. It would also make all bots return and not just obsolete ones.

That's not such a bad idea actually... turn off the network, have all bots return home, then you can go and manually sort out each roboport... unless of course you've packed one in the middle of a massive solar array with no access to it.
Maybe we need to be able to walk between solar panels too.
