Isn't it pretty obvious that it's short? The best context is the English translation. If the English translation is unreasonably short there must be a reason behind it. We don't need to document every little string, plenty of context is offered by the English translation.

Also it's up to the translators(especially those with source access) to make sure they understand the context and usage of that string.

Ah, so game doesn't have to be reasonable or self-documenting, just give the documentation work to someone else because then you don't have to do it. I don't even know if the string is supposed to be short now.
