Does anybody know how to use the mod name/desc localization? How can I localize it?

Is it just me or can windows no be larger than the screen? For example with Bob's mods there are a lot of ores and the "New Game" dialog gets much bigger. The "Generate" button only shows a few pixels of the top, all the text is hidden outside the screen. The dialog does a scroll bar too but it's still larger than the screen.
