I saw Scout 15 several times griefing around at servers.
Usually at beginning he is building a lots of radars to kill power.
As I deleted one power pole to the radars he was saying that I'm a griefer

You should try to kill him and keep him catched in a wall at the starting area until he leaves or an admin bans him.

I second this username being a griefer. Came into our wave defense map and atempted to deconstruct, revoked all their permissions so they cant do anything but run around

Edit:

Suggestion to other admins, disable default ability to deconstruction with robots. allow only those who request and you approve to do so, and grant other members adminiship to help with bans. Revoke those admins ability to change group permissions just to be safe though.

I was very delighted to see scout15 was trying to connect to the last server I played and couldn't.

He's already on the list, but itzbryan55 joined the server, then blew up himself and some train stops with grenades. Just confirming he's still active.

tbeardsley is a griefer and a pretty unimaginative one at that. He kept taking stuff, then running to his death in biter bases, or placing things down for biters to destroy.

at version 15.x we can use

/permissions

then you cannot harm anything if you are not in the build group
there should be a guide but i cannot find anything yet.
its just a small step in some protection.. keep up your notifications on the help channel

This thread has absolutely no purpose... you can change your name very easy. You can only ban people by name, not by IP. Even IP would make no sense because its changes often and change can be done manually.

sorry, totaly wrong, since you have to verify your account on open servers.
Private Servers can have the OPTION to change that to allow this without verification.

And how do you verify user identity if you only have a name and not the user himself your server? I mean this thread is here to share the names of the bad boys. If you ban these names in your server I dont think there will be any verification possible. I can ban names that I've come up myself with. Random charackter names. Theres no verification going on there then.

and yes bad boys can change their names, and? thats always possible even in realllife, new identiy card name changes.
so thats why they invented

Strip down all rights from Guests and voila you are saver most of the time*

You just verified that this thread has no use whatsoever.
Also you cant change your fingerprints. And until we get fingerprint representaions ingame this thread is of no real use other than make the admin happy.

changing the name result in annother ban... and so on.
SO this thread is important! because you clear all the names!

a username is UNIQUE you cannot bann it twice
changing the username only end in another ban in the future.

and if you dont like this thread or not understand why its important to notify other users.

No, you dont understand my point here. You cannot clear "all the usernames" since there are basically an unlimited amount of names! Just look in this thread and see what crazy long usernames are possible: viewtopic.php?f=7&t=45562
You couldnt even ban this guy.

All you do is essentially kick the person. 5min later hes back and destroys your factory again.
Also we cannot change anything. Its up to the devs to find a better way. Until then I use SpaceBook.

Names have as much meaning to your identity as the socks you're wearing.

YES changing the name is so Easy but still sometimes its enough to stop some bad players
even if its 0,0001 % chance to stop them! its WORTH the fight!

you said fingerprint? then he gets a new finger... its the internet! if someone want to harm things they find a way!
Still,

REPORTING THE BAD GUYS even IF they change their names can MAYBE give enough hints to find the real owner.
