I can't plan to build a rail on a rail with a deconstruct plan in progress.
With projects or manually it's the same.
But I can do it with other entities or if I plan a rail with a different angle.
This is boring especially when I'm rewamping my rails...
I've zipped my video because .mp4 extensions are not allowed.
Need saves or log file? I hope not in this case...

Re: [0.15.23] Can't plan to build rail on a deconstructing rail
Thanks for the report. The game cannot support 2 rails existing on the same force at the same location with the same direction and as such doesn't allow it even in ghost form.
For now I don't consider this worth working on changing.

If you want to get ahold of me I'm almost always on Discord.

Rseding91,
Would it be worth considering the idea of cancelling a deconstruction plan if you place a blueprint of the same thing back on top of it? I've run into this issue described fairly often when i go about upgrading rail intersections, and if i don't catch it, i can end up with non-functional intersections. If the deconstruction could just be cancelled if I re-blueprint the same rail back in place, I think it would achieve the goal.
It would also be nice to see that behavior for all blueprint in my opinion. I've had several times where i'll build something a tile off and have to move a ton of belt over one place, and can end up deconstructing a bunch and placing belt back in the exact spot it already was. Behavior similar to above could save a lot of bots work out there.
