Control orientation of inserter based on circuit network
Pretty simple concept, allow inserters to adjust the direction they are inserting based on the circuit network. First use that comes to mind would be a nice buffer system along a belt that would take items from the belt when the associated chest is below a certain threshold, then reverse directions to feed the belt once the chest is above a certain value. I'm sure users much more clever than I could use this to great benefit on train depots.
Re: Control orientation of inserter based on circuit network
There was the - in my opinion better - idea to use negative numbers as reverse direction of the inserter.
