It doesn't make sense to me that there is no set of "generic quality" signals in the circuit network.
I would like to be able to turn off or on generic quality filters for inserters through the circuit network.
Yes, there is "quality filter" and "quality transfer" options in the selector combinator but that doesn't quite work if i want to selectively fill a chest with an inserter based on quality only. (not without making a mess anyway and it doesn't work if the chest is empty, nor can you read-out the current recipe of a machine)
As for setting conditions other than equal (not equal, if using blacklist setting on the inserter) that may be more awkward to deal with.
Just my 2 cents, wanting to fill up a chest with e.g. 50 common, 100 uncommon and 200 rare items via inserter and without having to each and every single time set up a bunch of different decider combinators per item of X quality.
Generic "quality filter signals" in circuit network like on inserters?
Re: Generic "quality filter signals" in circuit network like on inserters?
There are quality signals in the unsorted tab. They are just not recognized by the inserters.
Also see Allow combinators to generate "pure" quality signals.

Seems i missed them, thanks.
Issue remains though.
