What I have already tried and checked:
Complete reinstallation of the game: Deleted via Steam, manually deleted folders in AppData\Roaming\Factorio and AppData\Local\Factorio.
Checking the integrity of game files in Steam - no result.
Clean installation of video card drivers using DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) in Safe Mode and subsequent installation of drivers from NVIDIA website.
NVIDIA Control Panel settings: Forced use of high-performance NVIDIA processor for Factorio.exe. Also tried various combinations of settings (power management to maximum performance, priority to performance in 3D settings).
Launch parameters: Tried --force-opengl and --disable-audio. The result did not change.
Overheating test: Stress test of the video card in FurMark showed stable operation at 81°C (100% load, 15 minutes). Most likely, there are no problems with overheating.
Version issue: Initially there was confusion with the Demo version, but it was completely removed. Now only the full version 2.0.60 starts, and saves are created in it.
Antivirus: Completely disabled antivirus (Kaspersky) and firewall - the problem persists.
Attempt to diagnose RAM: Unfortunately, I cannot run the MemTest86 test due to a hardware feature of the laptop: when booting from a flash drive, the image is not displayed on an external HDMI monitor (the built-in screen is broken), which makes it impossible to check the memory.
Detailed description of the crash:
The crash occurs exactly at the moment of loading the game world (the progress bar reaches the end or almost the end).
The time before the crash may vary. After some manipulations (for example, a clean reinstallation of the drivers), the time before the crash increased, but the problem did not disappear completely.
There are no errors or critical messages in the Factorio log files (factorio-current.log) immediately before the crash. The log breaks off at the moment of successful loading of the script checksums.
My conclusions and request:
Considering the "silent" nature of the crash and the absence of errors in the logs, I suspect an extremely rare conflict at the driver level or a specific hardware incompatibility.
Could you please:
Provide a special debug version of the executable (build) that can write more detailed information to the log at the moment of the crash?
Suggest if there are any other diagnostic methods that I might have missed?
Analyze the attached logs and, perhaps, find some indirect signs of the problem in them.
Any help would be invaluable. I have tried all the standard and recommended methods of solving the problems on the forum.
