Thanks you for such a good and addictive game, and thanks you for the beatiful, big and interesting Space Age DLC!

With all the complaining on the forum over 2.1, I guess it's time to say something positive.

Thanks for real, genuine, no-BS Linux support.

I remember when Proton first became a thing, people were excited - so was I - but I knew at the time it would essentially undermine all the work that had been done at the time to improve Linux compatibility with gaming, and pave over it with Windows emulation, which in my view is not a good thing for Linux in the long term. Now, native Linux ports barely exist at all, and everyone has moved over to simply using Proton for everything...which is not the way forward in my opinion.

So I appreciate the devs for taking the time to actively support Linux, regardless of it's market share. I'm sure it would have been tempting to simply slap a compatibility layer over the top of the Windows version, or say "just run it through Proton, lol".

Thanks for not being lazy for something which, given the tiny market share, being lazy would have been an appropriate option.
