MECHA MKII LEGENDARY, second player can't have achievment/badge

Hello, I started a multiplayer game with a friend without any MODs. I completed the achievement "Mecha Armor MKII Full of Legendary Elements." I received the badge.

My friend built a second legendary mecha armor MKII. He didn't receive the achievement or the badge. However, we did create a second legendary armor.

Any ideas?

It could be the playtime, if your friend wasn't present on the map more than a certain % of time, i think 50 then the achievement can't be unlocked for that person
It's in the game to make it so you don't unlock every achievement by joining a random multiplayer very late game once.

If he opens the Achievements window it will tell them if they are eligible or not and why.
