I'm so excited to introduce FactoriCord, a lightweight and fully autonomous bridge between your Factorio server and Discord
It allows your community to follow in-game events directly from your Discord channels.
But, What is FactoriCord ?
FactoriCord is decentralized SaaS suite built specifically for Factorio server admins who wnat to connect their game to Discord without any manual setup.It consist of :
- Discord Bot which handle the onboarding ,registration, and event relay
- Client API (agent) which runs on your VPS, reads FactoriCord mod logs and communicates with the central API
- Central API wihch ensures security, updates, and communication
- FactoriCord Mod which captures in-game events and writes them in structured form
Client and mod runs locally on your VPS, while central service (bot and API) synchronize data securely.
No gameplay data or private logs are collected.
How it works (onboarding)
- Once the mod is on the server, Invite the bot to your Discord server
- Run the command !register
- The bot contacts the API -> a unique server token is created
- You get a ready-to-paste install command for your VPS
- Run it, the installer sets up Python, downloads the client API, and registers it as a systemd service
- The API Client automatically links back to the API
- Your Discord server starts receiving live in-game events

Privacy & Transparency
