[2.0.7] Crash on macOS 15.0.1 with steam (IOS_MFIJoystickUpdate)

Version 2.0.7 without the DLC installed is crashing on launch from Steam.

I thought it might have been mods from the last time I was playing 1.1.110 but I've uninstalled all mods (moved al contents out of the /mods directory) and it's still crashing.

Screenshots showing I'm not pinned to a Beta, and the DLC is not selected for install. The last screenshot is the moment of the unexpected crash.

After the title change to include "IOS_MFIJoystickUpdate" I realized I had a retro USB controller plugged into the Mac. When I removed that, the game launched correctly. I didn't think these were related because I never use that controller with Steam or Factorio. The controller is a Buffalo Classic USB Gamepad, model BSGP815GY

Menat to include, the game launched correctly both version 2.0.7 without the DLC and with the DLC.

Game Crashes when XBox Elite 2 Controller is connected. If already connected game crashes at startup, if not yet connected at startup game crashes as soon as the controller gets detected.

Hello, thanks for the report.
Does this still happen in the latest Factorio version? (2.0.23 or newer)
We have updated SDL in Factorio version 2.0.16, and the SDL patchnotes mention xbox controller support on macOS 15.
