On my first playthrough of SA, I found that the lithium brine close to my starting island got pumped out (reduced production) fairly quickly. The only other nearby sources were pretty far away. I built a bridge of ice platform and concrete, but it took a couple of hours for the heat pipe going to the island to heat up. The island had no crude oil, so I did not see a way to produce any burnable fuel there.
Without boats, the only way I see to do it is to run a train out to the island to deliver rocket fuel for burning, and perhaps for power generation. At that point, I may as well just use fluid tanker cars, too. I guess the train is the intended method of handling remote pumping like it is for Fulgora?
Any other way?
Long distance pumping on Aquilo

Yeah, trains of rocket fuel are the easiest way to do it. They don't need heating and you can take rocket fuel from them with a burner inserter to allow it to cold-restart the island. Belts or bots can work as well but they are a lot less practical for long distances there.
