Update 2.0 AAI Programmable Vehicles

Hi, I've learned to play with Earendel's vehicle mods using AAI Programmable Vehicles as well as other AAI controllable vehicle mods like Mr.YaR's Xenos tanks among others and now I can't play without those mods, do you know if they will be updated or will I have to stay stuck on 1.1?

I would love for an update to AAI Programmable vehicles.. However, I have not heard that such a thing is on the way.
From what I have observed the mod might be dead.
I hope someone will pick it up.

I'm playing with the thought of giving the modding tutorial a go, but I am affraid that the AI mod might be a bit above my hobby programmer skills.
