My Inserter Factory

Hey Fellas, I made this inserter factory quite a while ago but have only just got around to putting it into a blueprint.

The factory itself is quite simple but you may need some hints to which resource goes on which belt but I'm here to help.
The Reason why it may be a little difficult is 1) because it is quite compact and 2) because if you add the steel and transport belts, it will fit and make enough to sustain your research needs.

it works I 3 steps:
1) It will make enough basic inserters to give a continuous flow for the better inserters and still make enough to satisfy your research (Green Science Packs).

2) It will then split off to make a small chest of long inserters and go onto making the fast inserters and make enough of them to supply you with enough and supply the smart inserters in the next part.

3) Lastly it will make enough inserters to fill a small chest as well as continue making enough to supply your research (Blue Science Packs).

As you can see in the images above (Image 1 mostly), I have supplied the outside belts with green Circuits, the right center belt with Iron Gears and the left center belt with Iron. Make sure you get these 3 right or it will not work fully. These are the only belt you require if you are not bothered about using it for research. If you are however, follow on.

If you want to use it for research purposes as well, like I did, ten you will want to supply the furthest right belt, going up the side of the factory, with Steel. This will merge onto a single belt with the smart inserters for half of your blue science packs.

The belt on the far left, coming in at the side, going through the factory itself, needs to be supplied with transport belts. This will then merge onto a single belt with the standard inserters for fully supplied green science packs.

Of course you can just add the transport belt and Steel when you get them sorted, it will function perfectly without them. if you don't want them to supply your science packs then just remove the belts that require them. If you want to add them somewhere else then move the belts and merge them together elsewhere if you like.

I have also set it up for easy pick up, just go to the boxes on the left of the factory and use the X to define how many you want to pick up at a time (I set it to 50 but you can set it what you like. (if you change the chest for a smart chest and smart inserters going into it, and link them up you can set an exact value that you want)).

Even better, you can fit a road just after the chests and it will run straight and flush to the factory so you can just wizz past in your car or super skeleton legs and CTRT + Right Click as you go over them an collect what you want in a hurry.

ha that's a lot of inserters! Im surprised that any circuits make it to where the green inserters are made

Yep, nothing beats overkill. Tbh I think I did the math wrong but no matter.
