The ultimate challenge island

I started a new random map-no terrain changing mods, using low terrain segmentation-and i got this:

The island has all the resources you need, but no aliens which means the game is incompleteable without commands or mods that add other ways to get alien artifacts.

edit, turn that island into the imperial city, only more industrial.

I started playing this map and will use the landfill mod to go to mainland as soon as I researched landfill.
Looking forward to it!

This is actually a really neat world. Could be quite fun using the landfill mod to start out on the island and then expand out to the main land as you need it.
Would be super cool to have like all your main manufacturing stuff on the island and then just having trains going back and forth from the mainland for resources over small land bridges.

It might work because I wont need stone for walls and so on.

if you have subsurface you can dig out, or use the stone from the subsurface to build landfill. i havent played it much myself so couldnt say how tough it is...
