show all walls on the mini map

Ideas, that are too old (too much things changed) or won't be implemented cause of some reasons or if there are obvious better suggestions.

TL;DR
Show every piece of wall on the mini map

I noticed that only every second tile of walls is displayed on the mini map.
I would prefer if the algorythm for showing entities on the mini map would be more sensitive.
Now every second row is skipped and if a single wall or belt is in the skipped row it is invisible on the mini map.

This is especially notable in the beginning when you cant afford complex defense structures.

Minimap is just an image that is being scaled down (usually), doing an entity aware drawing is just not feasible due to large area the minimap covers and lack of hard limits on how much stuff can be in that area.

I don't know what you mean. That is how it behaved pre-1.1 but in 1.1 it was improved to do a little bit of linear filtering when scaling down the map image, so it doesn't skip columns/rows anymore (as long as it is not being scaled down a lot)
