Timing issue with Auto Deconstruct

Post by tehfreek »

Auto Deconstruct marks miners for deconstruction after all the resources beneath it have been extracted. However, miners have a small timing issue whereby they will register as having no resources before they have dropped the last bit of resource. Observe:

31 stone are available to the miner.

Only 30 are in the chest when the miner is marked for deconstruction by Auto Deconstruct.

The mining progress bar is empty regardless.

Unmarking the miner for deconstruction releases the last piece of stone.

Expected behavior would be that the last piece of stone would be released before the resource would indicate being depleted. This can obviously be worked around by having Auto Deconstruct wait a few ticks before marking the miner, but this would not fix the underlying bug.

AutoDeconstruct is a mod - you'll have to talk to the mod author about any issue you have with it.
If you want to get ahold of me I'm almost always on Discord.

Are you saying that reporting the resource as depleted before it has been completely provided is intended behavior?

If you have a problem with a mod, report it to the mod author, if the author can trace the problem back to an api issue, he can report that issue.
