22.706 Error CrashHandler.cpp:85: Map tick at moment of crash: 108
22.706 Error Util.cpp:77: Unexpected error occurred. If you're running the latest version of the game you can help us solve the problem by posting the contents of the log file on the Factorio forums.
Please also include the save file(s), any mods you may be using, and any steps you know of to reproduce the crash.
In this run, i started the game, went into freeplay with a standard map (no mods), open the inventory and craft and an iron chest -> crash.
At first, i thought it was the installed mods. I removed all mods (deleted them from the mods directory). Then i removed all save games (also deleted them).
But the crash persists. Whenever I handcraft and item, the crafting would finish, and then the game crashes as the new item is to be placed into the inventory.
I still had an "old" copy of the 13.09 on disk (I keep one modded and one unmodded version for achievements) - everything works fine in the 13.09.
Next, i though something broke with the update and the mods. I got out an old archive (13.08) that was downloaded July 12th, extracted it, logged in via the auto-update, enabled experimental updates, restarted the game and did the update to 13.10. The same behavior prevails in this "new" 13.10 version - as soon as I handcraft an item, it crashes (i have tried with other things than iron chests too).
I am currently on xubuntu 16.04 with kernel
