[0.12.0] Laser turret requires less energy than it should

Post by XKnight »

Unfortunately topic is too short, so: "[0.12.0] Laser turret requires less energy when charging from steam engine".

I used for testing one steam engine with 10 hot water inside (Temperature: 100).

First experiment:
Steam engine converts energy from water to accumulator (10 water *85 J/water = 850J).
Accumulator's energy is used to charge new laser turret, it is enough energy for ~1 turret.

Second experiment:
Steam engine is used to charge turrets directly.
In this case engine can charge ~3.4 turrets.
Initial conditions
Converting energy to accumulator
one charged turret

Accumulators have an input and output flow limit.

Try putting down more accumulators and the results should match that of directly connecting to the steam engine.
If you want to get ahold of me I'm almost always on Discord.

After adding one more accumulator the result is the same as previous, although they have bigger flow limit (300x2>510).

Thank you for reporting and providing description of minimal setup. Turns out this bug caused by same bug as shield insta charge.

Rseding91: That is what I thought too at first, but in this setup the steam engine is filled with hot water and disconnected from pipe.
