Science count off by ~10%

Good afternoon,


currently I am doing a 1000x science Space Age run on 2.0.28.
A quite mandatory research for this to succeed are flamers, which I rushed and which should cost 50.000 military science packs.
However, it turned out that without any labspeed or without any modules, it only took me 45.000 military science packs.
Attached is a partial screenshot of when I discovered a difference between research progress and actually produced science.

It turns out that I need 10% science less (when numbers are large enough) but would like to understand what this is.
Once again, I have not research any labspeed or modules, as I V-lined towards automobilism and flamers.

One time I cafted exactly 500 science of something, was blue I think, then the research stopped at 499. Couldn't find the missing bottle for the life of me. The other day I found a piece of iron ore on the copper plate belt, just one piece, absolutely no way to get there. Should have kept he saves. This game be weird sometimes or I'm going mad.

actually i think it could be an issue with the production tab

in my savegame according to my production of the last 10h i have 43 u235 produced but in the last 50h i have only 39 produced
its off by ~10% aswell
