In remote view, had a speed 3 module in cursor when I opened rocket silo, dropped it to first order some prod modules into the silo sockets, then tried to re-select speed 3 modules by clicking ghost cursor selection, speed 3 slot highlighted but did not place into cursor.
Happens with other items as well, appears to be as long as the entity can be opened with the item in question in the cursor. Same happened when tested with other resource items such as ice, copper plates, and in other entities such as chemical plants, beacons, and assembling machines.
To reproduce: enter remote view, hold in cursor any item that still allows opening an entity underneath, open an entity, drop the item (or select a different item/quality), select original item(/quality)
Could still use pipette tool to grab the selected quality of item, and the keybind to cycle quality of held item with the slot highlighted did cycle it into the cursor, but clicking the buttons to select the specific item or to select the same quality that was held in cursor upon opening the entity does not actually place that item into the cursor, just retains whatever was previously held (be it nothing, a different item, or different quality of the same item).
Closing entity did allow clicking in selection to get the item again.
First noticed in Space Age, but also occurs in vanilla.
