[2.0.15] Main menu GUI gets stuck during player landing sequence to a planet

While you're dropping from a space platform to a planet, if you open your main menu and check, say, the Sound settings, the sliders will become unresponsive and you are unable to interact with the GUI. You have to exit the menu and "discard changes", and only then are you able to return to the main menu again and properly change the settings.
