Flame Thrower Change

Couldn't be the Flame Thrower be a for-creature-only weapon ? Because I think for now it's kind of OP, as it can also destroy aliens turrets faster than your rocket launcher ^^. And, I also hate destroying my own buildings using it xD

But it is great for deforestation !!! Even if the fire does not grow...

I disagree, turrets are usually grouped together, you would never have enough time to kill all 4 of them, or even kill 1 and retreat.
It can be effective against a single turret, but that's rare.

Damage to your own buildings is good because it makes the flamethrower an offensive weapon, and lets bullets still be useful.

Damage to buildings could be reduced though, I imagine the exact balance is up for change, especially since kovarex has Starcraft as a guide :mrgreen:

Yes, it is just question of time, until we add damage type and armor specification for each damage type.
We will be able to have steel buildings almost immune to fire and much more.

I think this is forum-ready and the weapons will be revisited in 0.12 or 0.13.
