Add a checkbox labeled "Pipette Mode" to the Tile tab of the editor, which when enabled will auto-select the tile type at the location of the cursor when you click with the paint brush.
This will enable more rapid blending of different tile types within a biome (desert/grass/etc) to create more organic looks, without constantly having to click in the palette.
It will also allow you to paint with a particular tile type when it's on your screen already but you're not sure which one it is, because the icons in the palette are difficult to memorize.

Re: [Editor] Tile Brush Pipette Mode
Did you know you can press "Q" (pipette) to pipette the tile under the cursor?
If you want to get ahold of me I'm almost always on Discord.
