TL;DR
Make it possible to hit one key to accomplish the same action as each of the new quick bar buttons.What ?
Add hotkeys for all UI buttons. Specifically missing are:- the deconstruction planner
- the upgrade planner
- toggle button for personal roboports
- toggle button for exoskeleton
Why ?
I play Factorio using a Steam Controller, and I recently re-worked my controller configuration to include the new cut/copy/paste functions. I would have liked to also include the Deconstruct Planner and the Upgrade Planner as one touch buttons, however since these buttons do not have hotkeys assigned to them, this is not possible to do robustly. Having hotkeys for all buttons on the screen makes it much easier to create reliable and useful controller configurations.Note: I know that it is possible to make a Steam Controller click a button on the screen by moving the mouse there, clicking and then letting it return to the previous position. I have done this with other games that do not provide hotkeys for certain functions and it works. HOWEVER it is very far from ideal, and these keys are often VERY fussy to get correctly tuned. And even once they are tuned a stray mouse movement at the same time as a too-long held button press can cause absolute havoc.
