Why is there no sandbox mode?
Add just a map or two, one small, and one GIGANTIC. Make it so that each rock square, is like 10,000 ore instead, and just let newbies mess around. I would LOVE a way to just go in, and kind of improve my factory production through just the ability to play forever.
Anyone else like the idea?

I just found the map editor, which solves my question, but how can I place a player spawn location? :/ I can't figure it out.
