Pause Logistics Queues / Turn off logistic system requests

Re: Pause Logistics Queues / Turn off logistic system requests
Another use case is when I want to build a zone in an outpost : I copy / paste a block of stuffs, then I put in a logistic chest near a roboport all the stuffs needed to build the zone.
Now, if there is also logistic robots in the robotport, they put back all the stuffs I delivered in the box back in my inventory, leaving building robots out or resources. With some kind of switch off button, I could prevent the logistic robots to fill back my inventory until the zone is built.

The swith off button could be next to the personnal roboport switch off button (and hidden if desired like all the other tools buttons).
Suggestion: Toggle Logistic Orders Button
TL;DR
As title says - I suggest functionality to temporary turn off your "built-in" request chest, so robots will not deliver any requested items to you. What ?
Have you ever been in situtation, when you just need to TEMPORARY dump all your stuff in chest, then do something, then grab it back? This is especially common when you go to tile some concrete pathes, or to salvage large chunks of your factory. But if you have logisic orders for common materials (like, for belts, poles, inserters, modules, rails, signals etc), when you dump all your stuff within logistic network, it immediately sends logistic robots to fill you with "missing" items. That's... quite inconvenient and annoying.
Sometimes, I desperately need to stop being a "mobile request chest" just for a minute, plz, game...
Why ?
Because in 0.17 we got so many convenient buttons, with functionality like "Toggle roboport" and "Toggle exoskeleton", why can't we have another one, like, "Stop being mobile request chest for a moment"?P.S.: yes, I know there is a mod for that

Re: Switch to disable logistic slots
Yeah, this would be a great addition and QOL improvement to the game, along with the other much appreciated toggles added in 0.17.
Re: Switch to disable logistic slots
This feature is so so needed, they did mention in a FFF about reworking the trash / requesting system, I sincerely hope this will be added too.

Re: Suggestion: Toggle Logistic Orders Button
Unwanted delivery is far more annoing than removed oil processing.
Give old processing back, take unwanted delivery instead.
Re: Switch to disable logistic slots
+1, would love to have this.
I would even suggest to extend this functionality to enable/disable whole requester chests (where it should be controllable by a signal).

Logistics toggle on/off
One thing I have noticed on death, is when I respawn back in base I suddenly get swamped by bots trying to refil my inventory of everything I dropped on death. When I return to my body, suddenly I have double of everything
May I suggest (like the exo-skeleton toggle) the option to turn off the logistics whenever you want. You can also configure to auto-off on death (by the options menu). This would prevent alot of wasted deliveries. This is particularly important in MP games, and will prevent the 'fighters' from getting too much stuff each time they die

The auto-trash mod implements this for you, if you wish.crusher_sut wrote: ↑Thu Aug 22, 2019 10:19 amOne thing I have noticed on death, is when I respawn back in base I suddenly get swamped by bots trying to refil my inventory of everything I dropped on death. Toggle button for character logistics activation
TL;DR
I'd like to be able to turn the character logistics on and off. What ?
We already have buttons to enable or disable the personal roboport and exoskeleton. I propose another button next to them that stops bots filling your inventory.Ideally, accompanied by a setting that lets you choose to have it automatically disable when you die.
Why ?
If you die, you already have everything you want on the corpse. It might even be right next to you. I regularly try to run away from the logistics bots or remove some of the items from the list to avoid getting filled with all sorts of crap i'll just need to dump as soon as i get to my corpse. I may not even have inventory space for both the stuff i get from the bots and the stuff on my corpse. Automatically disabling (optional!) logistics at that point would be even better than having to quickly hit the button to stop it.On top of that, there's a bunch of other times where you're doing something and don't want your inventory refilled.

How about using Auto Trash mod?
Cool suggestion: Eatable MOUSE-pointers.

Switch to deactivate character logistic requests
TL;DR
The prohibition to transfer to the character items from the logistics network.Hello!
Sorry, but I use Google translator (RU).What ?
I want to propose a switch in drone networks, so that in a particular drone network, you can prevent transport drones from transferring things to the character. Why ?
Many players and I also use city blocks and various drone networks, each of which has its own repository. When a character runs through such a network, transport drones pick up items from passive supply chests, and when it leaves, drones carry everything to storage chests. And this is not necessary. The ban on the transfer of items to the character will reduce the load on the logistics network.Re: Pause Logistics Queues / Turn off logistic system requests

https://mods.factorio.com/mod/AutoTrash .. one of the options allows you to set a main network, where your logistics requests are sourced from

"Stop logistic requests" HUD button
Sometimes you want to clear out your inventory and just get a bunch of landfill. For those situations, it would be nice to pause your logistic requests instead of having to clear everything.
