I miss some simple goals to aim for in the game to give me some sort of direction. As Factorio is coming to Steam, these kind of goals can be (I think easily?) be incorporated by introducing a lot of Steam achievements, for example: "Produce an x amount of item y within a time frame of z game days".
I know you can set these goals for your self in mind, but somehow I really would be more challenged when you can get achievements for it in for example Steam. Furthermore, I would suggest that experienced players of the game help tuning the values for these achievements such that there is a real challenge and such that the challenges are feasible.
I think that, concluded from reading the posts of other people on this forum, that I am not the only one that would like to have some extra concrete goals to aim for. (besides the main endgoal of the game)
