Enable "F" keypress to work in interfaces too

Post by Arrcher »

TL;DR
Enable "F" keypress to work in interfaces too

What ?
(French keyboard -->) Pressing "W" let me drop one item on the ground. Or directly inside a machine if I hover it before the keypress.
Make "F" keypress work (kind of) the same way, letting me take one item of the item I'm hovering.
Why ?
Taking a stack or half a stack is great, but I'd love to be able to pick just one item of a stack. Yes i'd really like it.
Thank you.

This would be a great idea for big things like picking up 1 train or 1 module or some random material you dont want eventually clogging up your inventory

I have actually tried to use z in this situation, forgetting that it doesn't work that way.

Adjusting an inserter the wrong way let it pick up immediately sth. if it's the wrong item it blocks the whole chain.
Till today I have to delete the inserter just to get rid of the item in his "hands".
Hovering and pressing F would be an intuitive solution, too.
When I ask for features or improvements, it's because I like this game and I think, others could like it too.
